DRUMUL CĂTRE SUSTENABILITATE ÎNCEPE ACUM ȘI NU SE OPREȘTE NICIODATĂ

SUSTAINABILTY

”Sustainability is the balance between the environment, equity, and economy.

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”

MOBILITY

Freedom to travel from home to school, to work, shopping, on vacation, visiting friends, inside the country or abroad. What a wonderful thing you have learned to value more in the context of the restrictions imposed by the COVID19 pandemic.

But what should you take into account when you have to travel, if you want to have a carbon footprint as small as possible?

HOME & WORK

Your home, the place where you meet your loved ones, where you go in order to recharge your batteries after a hard day, where you find yourself, relax, unwind. The place where you can be yourself. At home is the central scene of your life and the place where most of the daily rituals take place: sleeping, washing, cooking, reading. From the moment you wake up in the morning and get out of bed, all your actions have an impact on the environment.

SHOPPING

We are big shopping enthusiasts, and this has turned us into a consumer society, with serious repercussions on the environment. It will be difficult for us to give up the habit of shopping even when we don't need anything, but we could opt for smarter and more sustainable ways of shopping.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Far from being an exhaustive encyclopedia of sustainability, this guide is rather a collection of information that will help you understand some basic principles of a lifestyle with minimal impact on the environment.

Before you rush to say that you do not have the time, money or desire for such an approach, it would be good to know that sustainable does not necessarily mean lack of comfort, expensive, less beautiful things or less tasty food. A sustainable lifestyle actually means consuming fewer resources, valuing quality over quantity. It means respect for people, for the environment and for yourself. It means making responsible, conscious choices.

HABITS

It actually takes very little to change much: choose to walk instead of taking the car, climb the stairs instead of using the elevator, drink a smoothie instead of a soft drink, always ask yourself: Do I really need it, is this really making me happy? Buy less, reuse more, recycle what's left, value quality and choose ethics. Remember that if one thing is cheap, it does not necessarily mean that it cost a little, but only that someone else is paying the price. So be fair. That's about it.

Our daily choices, consciously multiplied on a large scale, every day, can have a huge positive impact.

FUN

Whether it's a well-deserved vacation, a party with friends, a picnic or a few days of fun at the festival you've been waiting for a whole year, all these ways to relax and spending your free time have an impact on the environment.

So how do you make yourself feel good and at the same time take care of your nature?

GREEN KIDS

It is important to raise children who love nature and care for the environment.

Remember that little ones learn by example, so all you have to do is be good, sustainable parents.

MY ECOFRIENDLY TO DO LIST

They say that a gesture repeated for 21 consecutive days becomes a habit.

So we challenge you to change your consumption habits in the next 21 days.

Write down every day something new that you will do to reduce your impact on the environment, resuming every day the gesture of the previous day.
